If we are only aware of the Relative, our practice becomes pressurized and grim. But if we get stuck in the Absolute, well, in Zen terms, we start to stink. Held as an inseparable union, though, the Relative expresses the Absolute; the Absolute liberates the Relative. Freedom and Fullness. Wisdom and Compassion.
